Well I get several feelings
From the description of the auras I've devised what I feel around a certain aura
Black = "I've got a bad feeling about this..."
Red = Really hyper
Blue = "I feel like I'm being wathced
Purple/Violet = Hostile

Apparently I'm of the Violet Aura, with a hint of black.
Anyway I don't read auras per se, but I can feel them. If I'm near someone with a black aura, my ear starts buzzing and my left are goes numb for a bit. BUt when I'm near someone with a green aura, my foot goes numb and the back of my neck itches.
