"Luka! Luka, wait!" Kaito called out to her as he saw her run into the nearby jungle. He ran after her as fast as he could; he didn't want her to get hurt in the unfamiliar environment.
He saw a flash of pink hair nearby.
"Luka-san! Please, Luka-san, before you get hurt!" Just then a sharp branch scratched his face.
"Ugh," he said, flinching from the sudden pain.
He ran after her for several minutes, but it felt like hours. He could feel the distance between him and Luka getting smaller. When he was certain that she was in arm's reach, he extended his arm.
"Luka! Come back!"
His foot caught on a branch, and he tripped, falling on his face.
He was about to call out her name, but all that came out of his mouth was the name of the song he had sung with Luka; the one that made him fall in love with Luka in the first place.
"Gladiolus!"
