"Huh?  Where am I?"  Kaito found himself back at home, in the mansion.  His master was talking.
"Kaito, I realize you have done many successful romantic songs with Miku, Luka, and even Meiko.  Now, I realize the fanbase varies in their opinion, but I want to know from you personally who you like."
"I...I have found myself having feelings for Luka-san recently, Master."
"I see..."  A pause.  "Kaito, in this case, I give you permission to pursue the love of whomever you choose.  I wish you well."
"M-master...thank you so much," Kaito said with a respectful bow.
"Mmm.  Now, let's get you packed for that trip.  We have a long plane ride tomorrow, you know."
"Yes, Master."

Kaito found himself in the plane on the way home.  He had just been hit on the head with a fish, and he had buckled himself in.  He sighed and looked up at the plane's ceiling.
"That was stupid of me...why did I start that argument?"  He thought for a second.
"I think I'll go apologize to her now," he said, proceeding to get up.
The plane lurched.

The plane took a nose-dive.
2...
The plane was close to the ground.  "Luka-san!" he yelled,  concerned for her safety.
1...regaining consciousness.
He could hear Luka's shouts coming from somewhere.  "D-damn it! Why'd you have to get in the way, baka? I thought you wanted to kill me! W-why are you suddenly s-saving me?"
The plane crashed.

Kaito's eyes flew open, and he lurched forward.  His breathing became heavy, and he was sweating.  "Uhh...that crash...it..." he could barely speak proper sentences.  He grabbed his chest; it was in massive pain.  Repair level 55%
He turned around...and found himself staring into Luka's beautiful blue eyes.  Strangely enough, he didn't feel as much pain anymore.
"Luka-san..." he reflected on what he had heard before waking up.  "I got in the way of that creature because I wanted to save you.  You mean the world to me, and I care about you with all my heart, Luka-san.  I don't want to kill you; that's against who I am as a Vocaloid.  And Luka...Master died in that plane crash.  If you thought I killed him..."
He looked away for a second.  "Luka," he began.  He kneeled right in front of her.  "Things happen.  We're all stuck on this island without a way off it.  We have to stick together if we want to make it through."  He held out his hand.  "Please, Luka, will you come back with me to the others?  I won't leave here without you."  As he said this, he looked directly into Luka's enchanting eyes.
