Kaito caught a glimpse of a fish splash in the water, and was about to tell Luka about it until she beat him to it.  He felt like he was in a time-warp as Luka chirped at him with such an expression of cuteness that he felt like he was going to collapse.
Tuna...tuna... The same words echoed in his mind, eternally stuck in an endless loop of utter kawaiiness that he almost forgot what he was doing in the first place.

A few seconds of awkward silence was what snapped him out of it.
"I'm sorry, Luka, I got distracted," he said, embarassed.  He looked around.  "Let's see..."
He grabbed a nearby branch, long and somewhat sturdy, and began sharpening the end with a rock, chipping away pieces at a time until he got a fine point.
"I'll be right back with some fish, Luka," he said, gleaming a smile.  He took off his shirt and ran into the water.

"Come back here, fish!" he yelled, stabbing the water with his make-shift stick-spear at the fish underneath the water's surface.  A fish jumped out of the water.  Kaito lunged at it, only to fall in the water with a splash.
A few seconds later, he emerged from the surf, triumphantly holding a tuna in his hand, and somehow 3 more tuna on his makeshift spear.
He walked back onto shore, picked up his shirt, and walked over to Luka.
"I got us some dinner, Luka-dono," he said, nuzzling his nose against hers before giving her a gentle kiss.
