Lets talk about this master of wierd fiction and all his great creations.  From Cthulhu to Dagon.  From Arkham to Innsmouth.  From the Necronomicon to Yog Sothoth.

Well I have seen this and I want to say you that I first started reading Lovecraft as a teenager and found him boring and incomprehensible. And the another thing is that I found myself more and more intrigued by his often nightmarish imagery.

So in other words, you were, like most human teenagers, bored easily, however as you grew in mental capacity and comprehension, you saw the true horror in his stories.
