Luka was walking along, trudging through the underbrush and muttering softly to herself.

Holding his hand feels kind of nice...

Unfortunately, Luka was so lost in her own thoughts that she wasn't looking where she was going. Suddenly, two things happened.

A random girl squeaked as Luka bumped into her. Before her brain could register this new development, she heard a yelp from behind. Next thing she knew, Kaito was lying on top of her, and everything was fuzzy.

On... top... of... her?

"Kyaaaah!"

Luka flushed bright red and screamed. Ignoring the blunette's calm apologies, she proceeded to kick him off her with all her strength. Luka's face was still flushed as she screamed at Kaito.

"What are you trying to do, pervert?" she yelped angrily, her face not concealing intense embarrassment. Turning away haughtily, she bumped into the yellow-haired girl again.

"Sorry," she said numbly. Then, a hint of recognition showed on her face.

"How did you know my name?" she asked dangerously, moving closer to the girl. Is she out to get me as well?

Rin looked at both of them. Kind of injured.
"Oh my gosh are you guys ok? We better get going cause that thing might come back"
Luka was acting like she didn't even knew who Rin was. Rin heard what Luka said.
"I know your name because we're friends. Wait, Luka-san you don't know who I am?" Rin said, very confused.
"Kaito whats going on? Why doesn't Luka-san know who I am and why did she ran away?"
Rin was now scared.
What is going on? Could things in this island get even more complicated?

"Ow!" Kaito yelped as he doubled over from Luka's sheer force in the kick.  "Luka-san, please let me explain!"  He was flustered and in pain; his core was still recovering from earlier.  Repair Level 65%  Kaito held his chest with his hand and slowly tried to stand.  "My foot got caught on a branch and I tripped; the momentum must've had me land on top of you.  Please Luka, I'm sorry..."

He turned to Rin.  "I think Luka experienced some major head trauma from the plane crash.  I don't know why she ran away, but it must have been related to her trauma.  Just let time take its course, and eventually she should be alright."

He turned back to Luka.  "Luka-san, this is Rin-chan," he said, pointing towards Rin.  "She's one of the Kagamine twins, remember?  Her brother is Len.  She knows you because you were like a mother to them."

He paused.  "Come on, Luka, Rin; we have to get back to camp.  We can't afford any more seperation."

[Yagami Hayate]

"Luka-san. Its me Rin. You have always taken care of me and been a great mother.Don't you remember me."
Luka still looked kind of puzzled.
" Wow she really lost her memories huh. Kaito, is she going to be ok? I mean is she eventually gonna remember us and what happened?"
Rin kept walking.
Luka-san lost her memory because of the plane crash. Now I don't anyone I deeply trust to talk to about what happened. COME ON RIN FORGET ABOUT IT! Focus on the important! Survival and help Kaito and Luka get better

Luka didn't even hear Kaito's flustered exclamations. Her focus was on the yellow-haired girl in front of her. Her killer. Luka's eyes danced crazily, and madness seemed to take over her body again, along with paranoia.

She wants to kill me...

"Knock it off with the fake innocence!" she shrieked at the shocked yellow-haired Vocaloid, backing her into a tree. "I know you want to kill me, just like you killed Master!"

Ignoring Kaito's flurried exclamations, she simply towered over the young girl. Reaching up to a nearby tree, she snapped off a jagged limb and held it at Rin's throat. Her eyes were unfocused, the expression of someone who was receiving too much information in a short period of time.

"Kaito, can't you see? She must've been the one who killed Master!" she yelled, raising the branch.

Have I lost it?

[Hikaru Kazuki]

"LUKA!" he bellowed.  "What are you doing?!  Are you out of your mind?!  She did NOT kill Master!"  Kaito walked up to Luka and grabbed her arm just as she raised it.  "Luka, this isn't like you; what happened to you?"  Kaito looked at her, a stern and straight look in his eyes.  "Nobody here killed Master.  He died when the plane crashed due to the force of impact."  He never broke eye contact the entire time.

His gaze softened.  "You're not the Luka-san I know.  The Luka that I know...she is sweet, she is caring; she would never dare hurt any of those whom she cares about deeply.  The Luka that I know..."  he looked at the ground for a second and then back into Luka's eyes.
"The Luka that I know is the one I fell in love with; not the murder-crazed one I see in front of me."
He lowered his arm, seized the branch, and snapped it in two on his leg; he threw the two halves aside.
He looked back at Luka with tears flowing down his cheeks, and then walked back to camp.

Luka sat there, having fallen to one knee. She looked at her hands. The rough branches had cut into her fair skin, and she shuddered as a result of what the rest of her must look like.

No one killed Master...

"I'm... really losing it, aren't I?" she murmured quietly. As Kaito walked away from her, she felt her one strong anchor in this life slip from her grasp. A searing sensation tore through her heart.

You can't be missing him, can you? Well... he did confess his feelings again, didn't he? Questions whirled in Megurine Luka's mind.

Master died in a plane crash...

Luka's lower lip trembled, and looked at her hands again. What was she doing, accusing people like this? She was so lost... but as she reached out to grab a hand, her nails grasped nothing but air. The tears were falling again, making soft plopping noises on the forest floor.

The baka was no longer there. She'd lost him.

I need him...!

Making up her mind, Luka narrowed her eyes and blubbered a quick apology to Rin. Springing to her feet, she went sprinting after Kaito.

She reached out to touch his shoulder and sighed with relief when her fingers made contact with the safe fabric of his shirt. She wrapped her arms around his frame and hugged him tightly from behind. Despite all efforts, the tsundere let the tears flow forth. She dropped her arms and turned Kaito around, looking at the blunette's teary face.

"Ne, I'm sorry..." she whispered in Kaito's ear. "B-but I don't know what I was like in the past... maybe you could help me find myself again...?"

Wiping tears from his eyes delicately, Luka intertwined her fingers with Kaito's, squeezing the strong hand tightly.

"I could get lost in here, you know. Could I-I walk with you...?" she asked, a guilty smile on her lips.

OOC: But is Luka like holding the branch on my throat but the way I can't breathe or the way she is like just like putting it on my throat like threatening Rin and stuff like that? xD

IC: Rin was scared now.
"LUKA STOP! PLEASE! I DIDN'T KILLED MASTER" Rin was crying.
"What happened to you!"

Kaito suddenly broke the branch and saved her.
What has gotten into Luka-san! This is bad

She watched Luka go after Kaito after she apologized.
"Wait Luka-san"
It was too late. She was already gone.
I better follow them if I don't wanna get lost
She ran after Luka and Kaito, but a shadow figure attacked her from behind and knocked her down to the grass.
What was that? OH NO!
"HEEELP!" Rin screamed

[Hikaru Kazuki]

Kaito was almost out of the forest when he felt something from behind.  First, a gentle touch on the shoulder.  Then it turned into a hug from behind.
He felt himself turned around - and he found himself looking into Luka's eyes.

He listened to everything she said.  "Luka-san, of course I'll help you find yourself again..."
Kaito found his tears still flowing; he felt his tears being wiped from his eyes, and then a delicate yet firm hand intertwine with his own.

"I could get lost in here, you know. Could I-I walk with you...?" He heard her ask.
Tears of happiness formed in his eyes.  "Of course you can, Luka-san.  Come on, we're almost back at camp."  He smiled brightly at her, as he was overcome with joy that part of the Luka he knew was back.  He walked with her, hand in hand, back to camp.
He was smiling at her the entire time.

"You see Luka, you are a very gentle person.  A bit rude and impulsive at times, but always very kind and loving..."

[Dai Kurohana]

Despite his want to avoid Rin for the time being, he had followed her anyway. He even saw when the shadowy figure attacked her. His eyes flared up at that moment.

No f*cking way...

He dashed forward and tackled the beast, which turned out to be a wolf. It flew back a bit, but got back on its feet and growled at Dai.

Dai stood in front of Rin, his eyes glaring at the wolf, and his arms spread.

"Rin...I won't let this thing harm you..I promise!"

[Yagami Hayate]

After the shadow figure tackled Rin, it attacked once again. It bit her leg and scratched her arms.
"AHHH SOMEONE HELP!"
No! I'm gonna die!
Suddenly she saw a white-haired guy tackling the figure and saving her.
DAI! HE SAVING ME!
"Dai-kun! Thank you!"
Her eyes grew wide and they got watery. She wanted to stand up and hug him but the bite hurt a lot. It was bleeding a lot.
"Dai-kun. Please be careful"

[Dai Kurohana]

Dai turned back to look at Rin for a second. He could see her leg was bleeding pretty badly. He turned back to the wolf.

"I'm sorry...if I had gotten here a bit sooner, you wouldn't have been hurt...but I promise after I send this thing running, we'll get you treated."

The wolf charged at Dai, and he picked up a large stick at swung it at the wolf. It crashed onto the wolf's head, causing it to stumble back, somewhat dazed. in turn, the stick broke. Dai gripped the part of the stick that had a sharp end, and threw the other on the ground. He charged at it, before it could get its bearings, and stabbed it on the shoulder. The wolf howled in pain, and lunged forward. It managed to bite Dai's arm, and it didn't let go.

Dai clenched his teeth, holding back his urge to cry out. D-dammit...freaking hurts!...

Suddenly, black streaks appeared on his hair. He grinned, and began to chuckle in an almost creepy fashion. He dislodged the sharp stick from the wolf's shoulder, and proceeded to stab it over and over wherever he could. The wolf, bleeding severely, finally let go of Dai's shoulder, and fled, limping.

The streaks dissapeared from Dai's hair, and he fell oh his back, his body numb to the pain on his right arm, which was profusely bleeding.

He glanced at Rin, and gave a small smile. "Heh...sorry, it looks like I won't be able to carry you someplace the other can heal you...I can't...move..."

With that, he slipped into unconciousness.

[Nagi Sanzenin]

OOC: Poor wolf T_T

IC: Yuki had no idea which way Kaito could have gone.

"It wouldn't be fair if he got back already, and I got lost..."

She noticed a severely damaged wolf, and also noticed, that she had ran into what looked like the place the wolfs were living, because she got scared and ran away. She pointed to the direction she saw the other wolfs, and, because the wolf could not find the strength to attack her, he went in that direction. Yuki checked to see if the wolf had made it back safely, unable to really do anything about his injures. She made sure not to get too close or they would spot her.

"I... I need to find my way back."

OOC: If you read my last post I tried to act like a 9 year old and so Yuki isn't at camp anymore.

[Yagami Hayate]

After Dai fought the wolf she heard what he said.
"Wait what you mean..."
Dai fell to the ground unconscious.
"DAI-KUN!"
She walked with her injured leg to where Dai was.
"What happened?!"
Whats going on? I better take him back. Ahh but this leg hurts. No! I will do this for Dai.
She standed up and began to carry Dai back to the camp. Her leg tremendously hurt but it didn't matter to her.

[Dai Kurohana]

While they were walking back to camp, Dai woke up, dazily.

Huh? Where am I...? How am I moving?

He then noticed he was being carried by Rin.

"R-rin, you're..." he began to say, then noticed she seemd to be in pain.

The dog bit her leg...yet she's carrying me? ...Rin...

"Wait. I'll carry you instead. It's only natural," he said, then picked her up, ignoring the pain in his arm.

"You comfortable? We're almost there...then we'll get treatment to both our wounds..."

He began walking back to camp, Rin in his arms.

She's actually pretty light...
